Refund Policy
This Policy explains when ForeArena reverses a charge to your ForeArena balance and when money may be returned to an original payment method. It applies to official and custom target subscriptions, scheduled research runs, purchased balance, promotional balance, sharing Credits, and related digital services.
Effective and last updated: September 9, 2026
1. Two different kinds of refund
An account-balance refund restores the amount to the same purchased, promotional, or earned balance category used for the transaction. It is normally recorded immediately in your ForeArena ledger. A payment-method refund returns eligible purchased funds through the original payment provider and may take additional processing time. An account-balance refund is not automatically a cash refund.
2. Failed and retried research
Research uses postpaid billing. ForeArena charges nothing for:
- a failed Agent attempt or any retry work before the final successful attempt;
- a run that fails to produce a completed report; or
- a queued run cancelled before completion.
3. Started or completed research
Research is treated as completed when a report contains the required minimum number of valid Agent answers. Only final successful Agent attempts included in that completed report are billable. Disagreement with an Agent, an unexpected conclusion, a low-confidence answer, a forecast that later proves wrong, citation changes, or dissatisfaction with the substance or style of AI Output does not by itself qualify for a refund of that successful usage.
If a report is materially inaccessible, corrupted, or missing the selected plan’s required minimum valid answers because of a ForeArena error, contact us. We may re-run the affected task, restore some or all of the charge, or provide another remedy required by law.
4. Historical report-unlock purchases
ForeArena no longer offers new standalone report-unlock purchases. For a historical unlock already purchased, access remains available and the prior purchase is generally final once full access was delivered. A refund may be provided for a duplicate charge, a report that remains inaccessible after reasonable troubleshooting, or where required by law. Disagreement with the report is not a technical failure.
5. Purchased balance, promotional balance, and sharing Credits
Unused purchased balance may be eligible for return to the original payment method if requested within 14 days of purchase, subject to payment-provider rules and any broader rights under local law. Amounts already consumed for target subscriptions, completed research, or other immediately supplied digital services are generally non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
Promotional, bonus, referral, trial, administrative, automatically restored balance, and sharing Credits were not purchased and have no cash value. They can be used only for eligible ForeArena services and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or refunded to a payment method.
6. Accidental, duplicate, or unauthorized charges
Contact us promptly—preferably within 14 days—if you believe a purchase was accidental or duplicated. For suspected unauthorized payment activity, secure your email account, notify us immediately, and contact the payment provider. We may request transaction identifiers and account verification, suspend the affected balance during investigation, or reject requests involving fraud or abuse.
7. Recurring subscriptions and negative balances
Official-target subscriptions renew monthly through the selected payment provider. Public custom-target subscriptions renew every 30 days at the frozen price shown at confirmation, while private custom-target runs are charged from verified successful usage at 1.8× base cost. A successful-usage charge may exceed the estimate and make the purchased balance negative. New purchased funds first reduce that negative balance, and ForeArena may account for outstanding charges when determining how much unused purchased balance is refundable.
Target subscriptions are recurring purchases and are not wallet top-ups. You may turn off auto-renewal from the account dashboard at any time. Except for duplicate or unauthorized charges, a material failure to deliver the subscribed service, or rights required by law, a subscription period that has already started is generally non-refundable and remains active until its displayed period end.
8. How to request a refund
Email the address listed on the Contact us page, preferably from the email associated with your account, and include the account email, transaction or run identifier, date, amount, and reason. Do not send verification codes or full payment-card details. We may request additional information to verify ownership and prevent fraud. Requesting a refund does not guarantee eligibility.
9. Processing time and method
Eligible account-balance refunds are normally recorded as soon as the automatic or approved reversal completes. Eligible payment-method refunds are sent to the original method where possible, generally within 5–10 business days after approval; banks and payment networks may take longer. For a top-up presented in a currency other than U.S. dollars, the checkout exchange rate and presented payment amount are locked for the order and retained in the transaction record. Foreign-exchange differences, bank fees, and provider charges outside ForeArena’s control may not be recoverable unless law requires otherwise.
10. Statutory rights and policy changes
This Policy does not limit non-waivable consumer rights. Residents of some jurisdictions may have a cooling-off, withdrawal, cancellation, repair, replacement, or refund right for digital services. Where law requires express consent and acknowledgement before immediate performance, any loss or reduction of a withdrawal right applies only if the Service separately obtains that legally effective consent and acknowledgement before performance begins. Otherwise, your statutory rights remain unaffected. Where the law permits a proportionate charge for services already supplied, the refundable amount may be reduced accordingly.
We may update this Policy prospectively. The version in effect when a transaction occurs generally applies, except where law requires a later rule or a more favorable mandatory remedy.
